Starting today, and from now on, you will need a pass from a teacher to visit the library during tutorial time.
Yes, this is totally for real.
The passes were designed by art director extraordinaire Mike Reed, and pass or not, they look freaking awesome! =)
Why are we doing this? Well, it's simple. Because you asked us to.
Last year, the Big House Library was popular beyond belief! But the noise level was often too loud to concentrate. Tutorial time is essentially a study hall, and the library is the largest classroom on campus. So if you want to be in the library at tutorial this year, you're going to have to shh! =)
There'll be a cop with a clipboard at the door checking passes. Forgeries will be confiscated and perpetrators will be prosecuted. So please ask a teacher to write you a real pass.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Ms. Koval. But please note that these passes were approved by the Principal's Advisory Committee at Casa, so they're not going any where any time soon.
Thank you for your cooperation and compliance with the library tutorial pass program. With your help, it will rock! =)
Hope you had a happy summer. =) It's been great seeing you all back at the Big House. There's lots of surprises in store for you this year: a fabulous new computer lab, tutorial passes, and no food or drink in the library (for real) to begin with (we'll tell you all about all that real soon). And though some stuff may seem lame, actually Miss Helen and I are looking forward to giving you all the awesome library experiences you deserve. (We promise it won't suck. We swear!)
