the big house library

i went to google for something this morning and below the search box saw a small red ribbon and a link that said "world a.i.d.s. day -- click here to learn more" -- so i did. and in just a few minutes with just a couple of clicks, i saw some really great websites and got a lot of good information -- like from ( RED ) -- check out their learn page -- and worldaidsday.org -- this is a british site; too bad there's no american equivalent -- but the best was the dag hammarskjold library at the united nations -- i'm sorry, but i have to give a shout out, because this library is amazing! the next time i go to new york i simply must see it -- anyway, their list of links about a.i.d.s. is so extensive and comprehensive, it's where i stumbled upon the world a.i.d.s. clock.  talk about wow! i learned so much about a.i.d.s. that i never knew and that i would not have known if google hadn't put that little link on their homepage. so i put on on ours, too. i figure, i've got an audience, the world has a crisis, why not inform our students so they can be part of the solution? i hope it wasn't a bad idea.
